To recruit applicants, Elite Nanny Services strategically screens and reviews referrals that are enthusiastically endorsed by other clients and applicants. After completing a thorough questionnaire, each nanny applicant is interviewed by our placement specialist. If the nanny applicant meets our strict requirements, we then undertake a detailed reference and background check.
We require the following from each nanny applicant:
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- At least two years of recent childcare experience
- Fluency in English
- A thorough background investigation
- Proof of citizenship or evidence that the candidate may legally work in the United States
All references are contacted and the results are transcribed for you
Because the safety of your family is paramount, the standard screening process for each of our nannies includes Social Security Verification, a Criminal Records Search, a DMV Records search, and a Sex Offender Registry Search. To avoid any conflict of interest, Elite Nanny Services works with an independent firm to conduct these background checks.
